How smart are your shoes?

For the reintroduction of their comfort shoe insoles line, Summit Brands asked BAKER to develop a system to unify, organize and energize their brand and packaging.

The new brand mark we designed features a crosshair symbol that is also used on the package to call out product benefits. Clear, bright colors pop at shelf and the easy-to-absorb information makes it a snap to find the right insole for your needs.

The client was thrilled–especially when Target snatched up the brand immediately upon seeing it. Clients are happy. Sales are brisk. Life is good.

Quotes from our client – Deb Stowe, President:

“The sales increase with the new insoles has been incredible! About a 45% sales increase! Now there were other factors, but this estimated increase is the most “apples to apples” analysis that they can give us.”

“Everyone feels that the packaging is a key driver. Yes, customers really like the products once they buy them and are coming back for more, but the packaging is bringing them in.”

I purchased the universal smart shoe insoles at Target. They are peeling apart and they are only 1 wk old. can someone please contact me with info about getting new ones. Targets policy is once its used it can not be returned. email me at krazykajun2@aol.com

  2. Brian, you should definitely contact SmartShoe and get them replaced. Target would also be happy to replace them. The company has been very good to work with.

Hello, I love the packaging on this particular product-Makes it easy to determine the exact insole that will help! Seeing as how your company assisted them with branding & packaging, do you know if they have a company website? Their packaging does not really list much in the way of contact info & Google searches only found me this site. My local Target was sold out! Immediately, I thought to try looking online to purchase but seem unable to find any such website for this company. Is one available yet? I would definitely purchase online if available! Thank you!

  4. Ms. Bernknopf,

I would return them to the Target store or contact the company directly.
